Experiences

Having graduated from the University of New Hampshire, I received a degree in English and a minor in Fine Arts. My Master's studies were in English at the Southern New Hampshire University. These areas of focus have helped me develop and refine my artistic and creative side through creative writing, art history, drawing, painting, and different histories of literature.

I have completed courses in UX/UI design from Harness Projects and TripleTen. I have completed courses for Figma and Canva and have experience with Miro, Adobe, and Slack. I have worked on several remote collaborations both synchronous and asynchronously. My freelance work has been focused on copywriting, content creation, and product design.

My Approach

It is my belief that communication is the foundation to success. Being able to be successful through multiple platforms and with different people across different teams is such a valuable asset for a product designer. I keep this close to my heart and in every design choice I make. Empathy goes a long way and pairs with communication for success.

Gathering information about user behaviors, goals, and pain points is crucial to UX best practices. I am well versed in such practices as user interviews, usability testing, surveys, and data analysis. These practices allow for crucial insights in making results-based decisions to drive higher engagement while decreasing the chances of drop-off from users.

Prototypes

From wireframes to functional prototypes is a crucial part to product management. It is the step when all the research is gathered and analyzed in order to make the smartest design decisions. This is where the brains meet the beauty in design. The key is developing a pleasing UI that is backed by the foundations of UX. My backgrounds including copy and content writing help me deliver a full scope to my design decisions.

Me working at my desk

Product management goes beyond just the hard skills of research and design. You want someone you can count on to be reliable, communicative, and steadfast. I would say I am naturally someone who is easy to get along with and work alongside, but don't just take my word for it. See what others have to say.
